Rainbow House would like to thank Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area for their generous year-end contribution of $1,000 for our joint efforts to make our community a safer, healthier place to live.

Colin McMahon’s Peshtigo Boy Scout Troop #1902 Eagle Scout Project

Colin McMahon, in pursuit of his Eagle Scout Project with Peshtigo Boy Scout Troop #1902, made 4 wooden bunk-beds for local survivors of domestic violence and their children who are transitioning into independent living arrangements.  Each bunk-bed came complete with new pillows, sheet sets, and blanket.  What an amazing community contribution to Rainbow House!

Thank you, Greater Green Bay Community Foundation

Rainbow House Greater Green Bay Community Foundation Press Release Jan 2021

Rainbow House Domestic Abuse Services received a $1,000 grant from the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation.

Rainbow House will use this grant to support survivors and their children experiencing domestic violence.  Domestic Violence has significantly increased, both in frequency and severity during the pandemic.  At Rainbow House, we believe no one deserves to be abused be it emotionally, physically, financially, or sexually. Our prime service is the safety and empowerment of all victims and their children.  We will provide prevention, education, and information to communities, families, and schools.

“We are so grateful for the support of the Greater Green Bay Foundation”, said Executive Director, Courtney Olson.  “It takes a community to stand up against family violence”.
